Katlin Brauer Massirer

Researcher at the Center for Molecular Biology and Genetics at Unicamp, coordinator of the Medicinal Chemistry Laboratory “Deconvoluting RNA Binding proteins as drug targets, by chromatography-based chemical fragment screening”

Dr. Massirer has been a researcher at the Center for Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering (CBMEG), UNICAMP, since 2012 and supervised postgraduate students in the Genetics and Molecular Biology Program at the Biology Institute of UNICAMP. She works together in the coordination and management of the Medicinal Chemistry Center Research Laboratory, which is a National Institute of Science and Technology (INCT) and the first Embrapii.  Her research focuses on RNA-binding proteins in diseases, bioinformatics, medicinal chemistry, and recombinant proteins for diagnostics.  She has 15 years of experience in planning and executing research and innovation projects, with international publications, participation in public policies, and science dissemination. She is an alternate member of the Internal Chamber for the Development of Researchers – CIDP, UNICAMP.
